Based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa
I’m Tiffany Ventura, a lifelong Eastern-Iowa native and the hands-on founder of Chomp Lures, a woman-owned small business based right here in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. What started as a Saturday-morning garage hobby has grown—thanks to patient evenings at the vise, countless casts on the Cedar River, and a very supportive husband—into a local brand trusted by Midwest bass and walleye hunters.
Avid sports fans of the University of Iowa Hawkeyes, with our most recent ventura at Carver-Hawkeye Arena cheering on the Indiana Fever (we caught Caitlin Clark’s May preseason homecoming game vs Brazil!), hiking the Sac & Fox trail with our dogs Loki and Zorro, or testing new baits on Lake Macbride. Every pack of soft plastics you see on this site is hand-poured, oiled, bagged, and quality-checked in Cedar Rapids—never mass-produced overseas. When you fish a Chomp lure, you’re fishing an Iowa-made product built for Iowa waters.
